Comment Policy
Through active discussion from folks with a variety of viewpoints comes learning. My comment policy boils down to “be civil”. If you don’t know what that means, here are some more details about comments on this blog:
- The comment form should be filled out with truthful (or legitimately anonymous) information. Comments with obviously misleading or spammy-sounding URLs will be deleted.
- Privacy is important. Although the comment form requires an e-mail address, the address will never be publicized or used for bulk-mailing purposes. The site author may use a comment e-mail address to contact a commenter directly.
- Mind your manners. Comments which do not add to the conversation, including those making unsubstantiated personal attacks, will be deleted.
- All Rights Reserved: The blog owner reserves the right to edit, delete, move, or mark as spam any and all comments. They also have the right to block access to any one or group from commenting or from the entire blog.
- Hold Harmless: All comments within this blog are the responsibility of the commenter, not the blog owner, administrator, contributor, editor, or author. By submitting a comment on our blog, you agree that the comment content is your own, and to hold this site, and all subsidiaries and representatives harmless from any and all repercussions, damages, or liability.
That sounds like a bunch of overbearing legalese. Just go out there, comment, and be good.
